Itinerary

  1. Day 1 Arrival in Paris and Imperial Foundations

Arrival in the heart of Paris and check-in at a hotel that evokes imperial grandeur. Our first immersion in history takes us to Les Invalides. Beneath its majestic golden dome, we will feel the weight of the Napoleonic legacy before his tomb. The day closes with a welcome dinner and a private lecture that will reveal the secrets of his irresistible rise to power.

  2. Day 2 The Art of Power at the Louvre

We will walk the galleries of the Louvre, not as tourists, but as strategists of art. We will trace the masterpieces that Napoleon "liberated" from across Europe, discovering how he used art to legitimize his power and craft the image of a glorious empire. An expert will guide us through the paintings and sculptures that defined his reign.

  3. Day 3 Versailles: Shadow and Symbol of Power

An excursion to the Palace of Versailles. Though it is the symbol of the Ancien Régime that the Revolution overthrew, Napoleon used it for his own ends, housing dignitaries and dreaming of surpassing its splendor. We will stroll through the Hall of Mirrors and the vast gardens, discussing Napoleon's complex relationship with the monarchy that preceded him.

  4. Day 4 Fontainebleau: Grandeur and Abdication

We will travel to the opulent Château de Fontainebleau, a palace that encapsulates centuries of French history. We will explore its private salons and pause in the very courtyard where, with an emotional farewell to his Old Guard, Napoleon abdicated for the first time. A day to reflect on the summit and the twilight of power.

  5. Day 5 Tactics and Strategy at the École Militaire

We will step inside the École Militaire in Paris, where Napoleon himself trained as a cadet. We will take part in an exclusive seminar on military strategy, analyzing key battles such as Austerlitz and Waterloo on interactive campaign maps. A retired general of the French army will share his perspective on Napoleon's tactical genius.

  6. Day 6 Journey to Lyon: The Industrial Heart of the Empire

We will take a high-speed train to Lyon, the economic engine of Napoleonic France. We will visit the secret "traboules" of the silk weavers in the Croix-Rousse district and discover how the thriving textile industry financed Napoleon's ambitions.

  7. Day 7 The Legacy of the Napoleonic Code

We will attend a lecture at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lyon on the transformative impact of the Napoleonic Code. A jurist will explain how this monumental work modernized the law, enshrined the equality of citizens and laid the foundations of modern legal systems around the world.

  8. Day 8 Imperial Gastronomy in the Culinary Capital

Lyon is the gastronomic capital of France, and we will explore its culinary culture in a traditional "bouchon". We will enjoy a dinner that reinterprets dishes of the imperial era, paired with wines from the Rhône region, discussing how food, too, reflected status and power.

  9. Day 9 Imperial Paris: A Legacy in Stone

Back in Paris, an architectural tour will show us how Napoleon dreamed of transforming the city into a "new Rome". From the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel to the elegant Rue de Rivoli and the Church of the Madeleine, we will see how his monumental vision left an indelible mark on the urban landscape.

  10. Day 10 Final Reflection and Farewell

We will have the morning free for one last personal visit or to shop for souvenirs of this campaign. We will gather for a farewell lunch at a historic restaurant, where we will share the lessons learned about leadership, ambition and Napoleon's complex legacy. Transfer to the airport.
